These terms apply to your use of otoroclub.com and to inquiries made through it. The engagement itself is governed by the written services agreement between Otoro Club LLC and the host, which controls if anything here conflicts with it.
What we provide
Otoro Club is a private event catering service. We stage live bluefin tuna-cutting ceremonies as event programming. We do not operate a restaurant and do not sell fish at retail.
Inquiries and quotes are not offers
Information on this site, and any estimate or quote we provide, is for planning only and is not a binding offer. An engagement is confirmed only by a signed services agreement and the required deposit.
Deposits, headcount, and substitution
A deposit secures the date and the sourcing of the fish. Final headcount locks ahead of the event, and the fish is sourced against it. Species, cuts, and portioning are subject to availability at market, and an equivalent grade may be substituted with notice to the host.
Venue access
The host is responsible for arranging venue access for load-in and load-out, a suitable space and power for the station, and any permissions the venue requires. Where alcohol is served, it is arranged and licensed separately.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
