Otoro Club stages live bluefin ceremonies as private event programming in La Jolla and greater San Diego. We bring the fish, the itamae, and the room, and run the evening end to end.
Who we are
A ceremony, made portable.
A whole bluefin, broken down by hand in the room, served in sequence as it is cut.
We built Otoro Club around a single idea: the most memorable part of an evening should happen in front of the guests, not behind a kitchen door. So the whole fish comes into the room, the itamae works it by hand, and every cut is served as it is taken. There is no back-of-house.
We do events only — no restaurant, no retail, no fish sold at market. Every engagement is quoted to the venue, the date, and the headcount, and run by our team from load-in to load-out.
Service area
La Jolla and greater San Diego.
We are based in La Jolla and serve greater San Diego. The ceremony travels, and setup, service, and clean-up travel with it. If a venue sits outside the immediate area, it is worth asking.
